Have been in a rut lately where I have been working quite slowly on my paintings. I suspect it has to do with the fact that I haven’t been out in nature as I usually have and have been preoccupied with other things.

I have read that waiting for inspiration to show up doesn’t really work well. It’s more about forcing yourself through the drudgery of the mundane, and then sometimes, something unusual comes up.

Most of the podcasts and books I’ve been hearing lately are uninteresting and so I need to find something good.
