Returning

I feel like I have a lot of ideas and just waiting to get back to making them happen. Being away from my materials had probably been refreshing and hope that I can use many of the reference photos I took. I also hope some exposure to Malaysia and Singapore art and architecture has rubbed off me so I can incorporate some new elements in my art.

In any case, I will thoroughly enjoy cooler weather and not having to take a shower 2 or 3 times a day. I sort of miss Canada in a way after just two weeks here. The food doesn’t spoil so quickly, I don’t get sick randomly and all the small things like regular crispy bread, food that isn’t drenched in oil or too spicy, and just having all my regular stuff with me.

So here’s my painting of a scene from Algonquin in Ontario, a place I rather enjoyed camping.
