Have been in search of a good video editor for vertical videos. I liked how Quik made a video automatically which was helpful to reduce the time it takes for me to cut out pieces of time lapses. However, the text editing on it isn’t that great. InShot does have the right capabilities but I would probably have to buy their yearly subscription which is higher than Quik so that the font text isn’t as bad and to remove the watermark on the video.
I did notice that Quik’s automated function had a way to time the music with the video which is probably why the output looks snappier. That said, I haven’t noticed that this has produced more views or interest in videos.
All that leaves me with is the hypothesis that social media was developed to be as addictive as a slot machine: without a known payout, it keeps you creating content so that at some point, your post will become much higher than the usual.
