I’ve finally gone back to my parent’s place to test out my tent set up fully. I’m hoping to figure out how I can cut mats to the right size as I’ve found a local supply but they aren’t the right size for my 9×12 paintings.

Once I get this set up and test out my grid set up then I will be fully ready and can focus on a few smaller details for my September Art Show. I guess I would need to buy more frames but we can figure that out later.

In my last drawing class, I tried out a mixed media with a transfer medium. The above cover image isn’t quite what it looks like now as I added some parts and also still need to add more but it’s symbolizing my background with Malaysian elements mixed in with what is my life in Canada. We were to make some kind of narrative and that’s what came to mind from the parts I brought to class. The Guan Yin on the left and the trees are transfers.
