I got to go to my local Deserres today, my favourite art store since I lived in Montreal. Somehow I ended up buying three yellows, as I keep searching for the right colour. They added two cool yellows to my collection. I tried them last night and I have to say that I think using them provides for better colour mixture than the secondary paints that already come in a tube.

I also bought a sea sponge. This didn’t quite work out the way I thought it might and so I think I’ll have to keep trying.

A size 4 round brush is now part of my collection as well. That said, I haven’t used it, but I had guessed that my collection of brushes was missing something smaller than my size 8 brush, which was why I thought my flat brush that was a size 6 always came in handy.
