Every decision making a difference

I’ve been thinking about how we prioritize and how every choice leads to a larger decision. For instance, while we’ve had a lot of things everywhere in boxes, I’ve relished the opportunity to play the piano or the cello as I’ve seen them as I’ve walked by much more easily accessible than before.

We’ve also had to eat out more since we had to pack up all the kitchen items. While it was fun at first, I rather prefer the foods I make instead (and it’s much better on the pocket). If I kept eating out everyday, I could see how it would affect my health much more.

Perhaps this speaks to how we have to make things accessible to make it more likely for us to do the act that we want. It’s in part with having my paints nearby and ready to be set up that I would keep on painting and producing. It’s been a bit more difficult to sit down and watch hours of Youtube or Netflix lately, so we’ve done a lot less of that.

It will take some time to figure out where exactly to put all my art as it’s strewn across the floor right now but I’m sure I’ll be able to find something suitable. Ideally, I could sell a number of the frames that are sitting in right now on the side! If not, I’ll hang a few more of them up in our new house.

Also, was nice to see that the Oakville Art in the Park had promoted my art. Seems like a few other artists have followed me.
